Simone Batra
Simone Batra is a Senior at Palo Alto High School with an extensive interest in business finance. She founded The Craft of Cooking, a summer camp teaching local kids out of her backyard, which raised over $10,000 across four summers. Additionally, she was appointed as a finance intern for Palo Alto City Councilmember George Lu's election campaign, in which she recorded and helped raise funds. She is also the co-president of the PALY Entrepreneurship Club and has led weekly meetings discussing stocks, pitches, and more.
Simone has a strong interest in leadership. She currently serves on Student Government as a Wellness Liaison; she organized the Thrift Fair, a highly-attended biannual event upholding sustainability and affordability by handing out over 300 pieces of donated clothing to Palo Alto High School students. Moreover, she is the founder and president of Palo Alto High School’s Connect2Volunteer Club, and helped over fifty high schoolers find volunteer & internship opportunities in its three years of founding.
Simone’s interest in finance, marketing, and leadership has driven her to step up as Focus Forward's CEO. She strives to create a space in which other high schoolers can get involved in the world of business.
