OUTREACH DIRECTOR

Aashi Agarwal

Aashi Agarwal is a senior at Palo Alto High School whose passions lie at the intersection of UX/UI design, web accessibility, entrepreneurship, and community leadership. She has pursued design through academic enrichment at Stanford’s Summer Institute and Berkeley’s Summer Springboard program, where she deepened her technical knowledge and creative practice. She is currently a Graphic Design Intern at NIMBLE Mindset, a startup accelerator program dedicated to supporting minorities who often lack access to entrepreneurial guidance.

Beyond her internship, Aashi has spent over three years developing her own business, Dormie, where she designed both the roommate-matching algorithm and the app interface. Her commitment to accessibility also extends into research: she authored a comprehensive study evaluating all 50 U.S. Department of Transportation websites for compliance with WCAG accessibility standards, revealing systemic gaps that affect millions of users nationwide.

Aashi is also excited to step into her role as Outreach Director for the Focus Forward Foundation, where she will help expand opportunities through advocacy and creative engagement. Outside of design and research, she has been a dance teacher for the past five years, sharing her love of movement and expression while helping students build confidence and joy on the dance floor.

With her unique blend of technical skill, creative vision, and dedication to equity, Aashi continues to seek out ways to build more inclusive experiences.
